Parliamentary Secretary Yvonne Jones to announce funding for a feasibility study in the Kivalliq region

Rankin Inlet, Nunavut — Please be advised that Yvonne Jones, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Intergovernmental and Northern Affairs and Internal Trade, will make an announcement on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor), supporting a feasibility study in Rankin Inlet. David Ningeongan, President of the Kivalliq Inuit Association, Aluki Kotierk, President of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc., and the Honourable Joe Savikataaq, Premier of Nunavut, will also be in attendance.
