Whitehorse, Yukon, February 23, 2026 — Dr. Brendan Hanley, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Northern and Arctic Affairs and Member of Parliament for the Yukon, alongside Council of Yukon First Nation Grand Chief Math’eiya Alatini, will announce support for Yukon First Nations to participate in and benefit from opportunities arising from Arctic security initiatives in the territory.
