1. Provide information to victims automatically
2. Better use of Victim and Community Impact Statements
3. Make victim rights enforceable like offender rights
4. Use multiple means for voices of victims to be heard
5. Develop national standards
6. Include restitution enforcement in national standards
7. Establish task force to collect victim data
8. Coordinate support across jurisdictions
9. Invest in victim services
10. Inform victims about publication bans and simplify process for removal
11. Get Indigenous victim consent for elder-assisted hearings requested by non-Indigenous offenders
12. Ensure consistent funding for restorative justice
13. Limit allowable cancellations of parole hearings
14. Invest in OFOVC for stronger mandate and more respect for victims
