Newfoundland and Labrador’s 2018-19 federal Gas Tax Fund allocations
Backgrounder
The Government of Canada delivered the first of two annual $16.4 million federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF) installments to Newfoundland and Labrador. The funding will flow through the provincial government to 271 municipalities and 5 Inuit Community Governments on a per capita basis. In total, the GTF will provide over $32.8 million this year for local infrastructure projects.
