Prince Edward Island’s 2018-19 federal Gas Tax Fund allocations
Backgrounder
The Government of Canada has delivered the first of two annual $8.25 million federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF) instalments to Prince Edward Island. The funding will flow through the provincial government to the following 72 communities on a per capita basis. In total, the GTF will provide over $16.5 million this year for local infrastructure projects.
