• The Government of Canada’s Investing in Canada plan is providing more than $180 billion over 12 years for public infrastructure across the country.

• In partnership with provincial and municipal leaders, the Government of Canada is investing in public transit; green infrastructure such as water systems; community, culture and recreational infrastructure; and public infrastructure in rural and northern communities. 

• The Canada-British Columbia Bilateral Agreement will provide more than $4.1 billion in predictable, long-term funding for the public infrastructure that matters most to British Columbians. 

• The Government of Canada’s Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund (DMAF) is a 10-year, $2-billion national program designed to help communities better withstand current and future risks of natural hazards. DMAF will support large-scale infrastructure projects with a minimum cost of $20 million.
