Press conference concerning an important announcement regarding recreational and sports infrastructures for the Mauricie region
Shawinigan (Québec), March 25, 2021. – Media representatives are invited to a press conference during which the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Member of Parliament for Saint-Maurice–Champlain and Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and Isabelle Charest, Minister for Education and Minister responsible for the Status of Women, will make an announcement concerning recreational and sports infrastructures in the Mauricie region.
They will be accompanied by Jean Boulet, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Mauricie region, Marie-Louise Tardif, MNA for Laviolette-Saint-Maurice, and Michel Angers, Mayor of Shawinigan.
The maximum number of journalists present is set at nine. In addition, two cameras for all media will be allowed on site (camera pool), as well as two photographers. Media representatives must bring their media credentials.

Those attending the press conference should not have symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with the disease in the last 14 days. Great importance will be placed on adherence to the rules of physical distancing and other hygiene measures.
Please note that wearing a mask is mandatory.
