Media Advisory - Rouyn-Noranda, Québec

Rouyn-Noranda, Québec, May 10, 2021 – Media representatives are invited to a press conference at which the Quebec Lieutenant, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Member of Parliament, the Honorable Pablo Rodriguez, and the Minister for Education and Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Isabelle Charest, will make an announcement concerning recreational and sports infrastructure in the region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

For the occasion, they will be accompanied by the Minister of Forests, Wildlife and Parks, Minister responsible for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Nord-du-Québec regions and MNA for Abitibi-Est, Mr. Pierre Dufour, and the Mayor of the City of Rouyn-Noranda, Ms. Diane Dallaire.

Given the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the health regulations in force, the media event will take place remotely on the ZOOM platform.

If you represent a media organization and wish to participate in the virtual event, you must pre-register before 11 May at 9 am by writing to relationsmedias@education.gouv.qc.ca. All the information required to connect to the virtual press conference will be sent to you afterwards.
