Sainte-Thérèse, Québec, May 17, 2021 – Media representatives are invited to a press conference at which the Quebec Lieutenant, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Member of Parliament, the Honorable Pablo Rodriguez, and the Minister for Education and Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Isabelle Charest, will make an announcement concerning recreational and sports infrastructure in the region of the Laurentians (Laurentides).

For the occasion, they will be accompanied by the Minister of International Relations and the Francophonie, Minister of Immigration, Francisation and Integration, Minister responsible for the Laurentians and MNA for Bertrand, Nadine Girault, the Minister of Finance and MNA for Groulx, Eric Girard, and the Mayor of the City of Sainte-Thérèse, Sylvie Surprenant.

Instructions for participating in the event :

Given the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the health regulations in force, the media event will take place remotely on the ZOOM platform.

If you represent a media organization and wish to participate in the virtual event, you must pre-register before 18 May at 8 a.m. by writing to relationsmedias@education.gouv.qc.ca. All the information required to connect to the virtual press conference will be sent to you afterwards.
