Backgrounder: Canada and Alberta invest in over 360 projects to upgrade housing for seniors and families in 95 communities

Funding through the Investing in Canada plan will support infrastructure projects in Alberta. The Government of Canada is investing nearly $25.6 million in these projects through the COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream of theInvesting in Canada Infrastructure Program with the Alberta government providing nearly $6.4 million. In total, this represents a combined infrastructure investment of more than $31.9 million.

These projects will help keep residents, staff and visitors safe and healthy, by improving ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems, upgrading security and fire systems, and more.
