Backgrounder: Canada and Alberta invest in new public transit infrastructure in Spruce Grove, Fort Saskatchewan, and Leduc
Backgrounder
Federal and municipal funding will support four new infrastructure projects in Alberta, funded under the Public Transit Infrastructure Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. The Government of Canada is contributing over $650,000 to these projects, and the cities are contributing a total of $1.5 million to their respective projects. Funding recipients are responsible for any additional project costs.
