Under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP), the funding allocated to provinces has been fully committed for projects. The Government of Canada has worked closely with the provinces to support them in allocating all of this remaining funding towards priority projects.

To date, the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) has approved over $24.2 billion for over 5,400 projects under five funding streams:

  • Public Transit Stream
  • Green Infrastructure Stream
  • Community, Cultural and Recreational Infrastructure Stream
  • Rural and Northern Communities Infrastructure Stream
