Federal government and Nunavut invest more than $194 million in critical infrastructure and transit projects across the territory

Joint funding with territorial and local partners through various programs including the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings program (GICB); the Rural Transit Solutions Fund (RTSF); the Green Infrastructure Stream (GIS) of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) will support eight significant projects across Nunavut.

The federal government is investing more than $129.9 million towards these projects, while the territorial government is contributing over $64.8 million. Recipients at the municipal level are investing $76,755.
