Government of Canada to announce new funding to support community-driven projects on Vancouver Island

Nanoose Bay, B.C. – July 18, 2022 – The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding to help improve community infrastructure and strengthen tourism experiences throughout central and northern Vancouver Island.
The event will begin with a walk around Jack Bagley Park to view the upgrades in progress, followed by remarks and a question and answer session with media.
