Government of Canada to announce new funding to support community-driven projects in northern B.C.

Prince Rupert, B.C. – August 22, 2022 – The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding to improve community infrastructure and strengthen tourism experiences throughout northern British Columbia.

The event will begin with a short walk to the future location of the Cloudberry trailhead, followed by remarks and a question and answer session with media.
