Government of Canada to announce multi-million-dollar investment for B.C. business growth and innovation

February 28, 2025 – Surrey, British Columbia – The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding for seven B.C.-based businesses, as well as a new program intake window for B.C. companies seeking support to grow.
Event: The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding for local businesses to scale up and compete globally, alongside a new program intake for innovative B.C. companies with growth ambitions.
The event will start with a tour of HealthTech Connex, a Surrey-based health care innovator, and move to Surrey City Hall for the announcement.
