The Government of Canada Commemorates Simon Fraser as a National Historic Person

On behalf of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, Catherine McKenna, Jadi Sidhu, Member of Parliament for Mission – Matsqui –Fraser Canyon, will take part in a Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque unveiling ceremony to commemorate Simon Fraser as a national historic person.
The plaque unveiling ceremony will take place during Brigade Days celebrations at Fort Langley National Historic Site. The ceremony will follow the “Arrival of the Fur Brigades” canoe re-enactment with a Kwantlen welcome at 1 p.m.
