Undertaking from Rhythm Pharmaceuticals to the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board

1. Medicine Information

Imcivree (setmelanotide)

Imcivree is indicated for weight management in adult and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older with obesity due to:

• Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) 
• Genetically confirmed biallelic pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC), proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1 (PCSK1), or leptin receptor (LEPR) deficiency due to variants interpreted as pathogenic, likely pathogenic, or of uncertain significance

2. Commencement of the In-Depth Review

An In-Depth Review was commenced into the price of Imcivree following its Initial Review, when its highest Canadian list price was above the Highest International Price in the July to December 2025 reporting period.

3. Undertaking

Rhythm will, for a period of two years from the date of the Initial Review (i.e. until January 1, 2028):

• maintain the current Canadian list price for Imcivree, and
• commit to no CPI-based price increases for Imcivree.
