HR Policy Professional (PE-05)
We are looking for an experienced HR policy professional (PE-05 or equivalent) to join Polar Knowledge Canada on a temporary project assignment to help modernize our HR Policy Framework.
Polar Knowledge Canada is a separate agency with the authority to establish its own people management framework. This presents a unique opportunity to help design a modern, practical, principles-based suite of HR policy instruments that reflects the realities of a small, operational organization while supporting sound governance and effective people management.
Working directly with the Head of Human Resources, the successful candidate will help advance this initiative by:
- Finalizing the current-state assessment
- Identifying leading practices across the federal public service, particularly in organizations with delegated authorities
- Engaging managers and key stakeholders
- Developing an integrated suite of HR policies, directives, standards, guidelines and supporting governance instruments
- Supporting implementation and change management
We are looking for someone who has already led or supported this type of work within the federal public service. Experience in a separate agency or another organization operating under its own people management framework would be a significant asset.
