Labour Relations Advisor (PE-04)

Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) is looking for an experienced PE-04 Labour Relations Advisor to join our People & Culture team on an indeterminate basis. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Experience analyzing complex labour relations issues in an operational or corporate HR environment, developing options, and preparing recommendations or briefing material for management;
• Experience researching and interpreting labour relations legislation, policies, etc.
• Experience providing strategic labour relations advice and recommendations to management on complex issues;
• Experience working in a northern organization; and
• The ability to build strong relationships, influence decision-making, and provide trusted advice to managers in a collaborative environment

Position details:

• Location: Ottawa, Whitehorse or Cambridge Bay
• Language profile: CBC/CBC
• At-level Opportunity
• Remote work may be considered for candidates residing in the territories.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of labour relations files in a small, collaborative HR team supporting a unique organization with operations across Canada's North.
