National Security, Intelligence and International Affairs

Headed by the Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, National Security and Intelligence and the Senior Diplomatic and International Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister, the National Security, Intelligence and International Affairs Branch (NSIIA) provides policy support to the Prime Minister and the Clerk of the Privy Council. The Branch’s Secretariats coordinate operational and policy advice in the areas of foreign affairs, defence, national security and intelligence.
