Using a Barco ClickShare

1. Plug the ClickShare's USB cable into your notebook
2. If you are a first-time user, or LEDs on the ClickShare flash white, you need to run the ClickShare application
   1. go to Windows File Explorer by selecting the folder icon on your taskbar or by pressing the Windows logo key () and E
   2. under Devices and drives, find and open the drive listed as ClickShare
   3. within the ClickShare drive, double-click to run the executable program ClickShare_for_Windows
   4. the ClickShare application will run
3. When the LED on the ClickShare device is solid white, the device is ready
4. Press the button on the ClickShare device
   • the LEDs on the ClickShare will change to static red, and your notebook will now be mirrored on the display
5. When you are done, disconnect the ClickShare USB cable from your notebook
6. Return the device to the centre of the boardroom table

Configuring your display settings

As a default, your screen will be mirrored on the in-room monitor display. To extend your display:

1. right-click on your desktop background to open Display Settings
2. on the right-side, find the drop-down menu
   • you will see the Duplicate these displays option is selected by default
3. change the option by selecting Extend these displays
4. select Keep changes on the prompt appearing

To rearrange the screens for display and mouse continuity:

1. in Display Settings, drag the display icons to arrange them in the configuration you want
2. use the Identify button to determine the identity of the screens (icon 1 or 2)
3. when you have completed your configuration, select Apply

Troubleshooting tips

Try these troubleshooting tips if you experience issues with the Barco ClickShare:

• check that the display is plugged in and turned on
• ensure that the application “ClickShare_for_Windows” is running before you share anything
