Public lands for homes
Public lands development pilot
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is finding new ways to accelerate the redevelopment of its surplus public land for housing.
The pilot will focus on 2 properties at Tunney’s Pasture that have the potential to quickly deliver housing:
- 200 Tunney’s Pasture Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario
- 10-50 Colombine Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario
The goal of the pilot is to select a developer to redesign these central Ottawa sites.
Industry engagement day
PSPC is organizing an Industry engagement day on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm Eastern time, in order to:
- share information on characteristics and proposed project requirements for both sites
- outline the potential criteria for developer selection
- provide an opportunity for industry stakeholders and partners to offer feedback and ask questions
Registration is open to developers, industry associations, urban planners, architects and other interested stakeholders, partners and Indigenous communities.
