Public lands development pilot

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is finding new ways to accelerate the redevelopment of its surplus public land for housing.

The pilot will focus on 2 properties at Tunney’s Pasture that have the potential to quickly deliver housing:

The goal of the pilot is to select a development team to redevelop these central Ottawa sites.

Industry engagement day

PSPC organized an Industry engagement day on Monday, September 22, 2025, in order to:

Registration was open to developers, industry associations, urban planners, architects and other interested stakeholders, partners and Indigenous communities. We thank all participants for their time and valued feedback.

We are currently reviewing the input we’ve collected during the Industry engagement day. To provide additional input on the pilot, please contact the disposal team.
