Applications for the next cohort of the Architect Professional Certification Program (APCP) will open on April 20, 2026.
The application deadline is May 15, 2026, with the new cohort and training kicking off in fall 2026.
Program overview
The APCP is a career development opportunity open to all Government of Canada (GC) employees looking to begin or grow their career in enterprise architecture.
The program equips you with the skills you need to be a successful IT architect. These architects create roadmaps and contribute to solutions that align technology investments with GC priorities and standards.
Cost
SSC employees
Costs will be covered through SSC’s central training budget.
Employees from other government departments and agencies
Costs will be charged to your home organization through a signed MOU and cost-recovery process. Additional cost details will be shared during the application process.
Application package
You will have to prepare an application package to express your interest in the program and demonstrate to our selection committee that you have the necessary aptitude to become a Certified Enterprise Architect.
Make sure you have enough time to prepare before you apply.
