Professional standards of conduct
Shared Services Canada (SSC) is committed to creating a culture that embraces strong values and ethics at every level. In a service delivery business such as ours, the trust we build with our partners, clients, contractors and vendors is one of SSC’s most valuable assets. Collectively, these documents guide us when making decisions and in resolving issues:
Government of Canada
Established by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, the Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector describes the values and expected behaviours that guide public servants in all activities related to their professional duties.
The Lobbyists’ Code of Conduct defines standards of ethical behaviour that lobbyists must comply with. These standards work alongside ethical frameworks that apply to federal officials.
Members of the public can be confident that SSC adheres to these professional standards of conduct in its dealings with partners and stakeholders.
