Professional standards of conduct
Shared Services Canada (SSC) is committed to creating a culture that embraces strong values and ethics at every level. In a service delivery business such as ours, the trust we build with our partners, clients, contractors and vendors is one of SSC’s most valuable assets. Collectively, these documents are guiding us when making decisions and in resolving issues:
- Organizational code
- Directive on Ethical Behaviour
- Guides for Ethical Behaviour in Procurement – Contracts and Contracting
- Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector
The Lobbyists' Code of Conduct specifies the principles, including professional and ethical standards, by which lobbyists must conduct themselves in their interactions with government employees. This Code complements the above-mentioned departmental guidance documents and, together, they contribute to public confidence in the integrity of government decision making.
Members of the public can be confident that SSC adheres to these professional standards of conduct in its dealings with partners and stakeholders.
