Who we work with
Shared Services Canada (SSC) is mandated to lead the delivery of enterprise IT solutions that strengthen government-wide operations and enable better outcomes for Canadians.
Working together across Government
We work collaboratively with federal organizations to enable consistent, secure and cost-effective delivery of government programs and services to Canadians.
Over 90 core federal departments and agencies, such as the Department of Finance Canada; Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; Environment and Climate Change Canada; the Canadian Security Intelligence Service; the Canada Revenue Agency; and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, are required to obtain end-user IT services from SSC, including devices and related software. Within this group, 90 departments and agencies are required to obtain core enterprise services, such as connectivity, hosting and digital services, from SSC.
All Government of Canada institutions can opt into our offerings, including departments, agencies and other federal organizations—even Crown corporations, such as Canada Post and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
To consult the list of organizations that are eligible or required to receive services from SSC and the types of services SSC provides, refer to Orders in Council 2015-1071 and 2016-0003, and the Financial Administration Act (FAA) schedules
