Table 2: Data Centre Reference Architecture Document Service Interdependency Mapping

The table shows the inter-dependencies between Data Centre Partner-Facing Services, Data Centre Enabler Services and Foundational Elements.

Read from left to right, service offerings listed under the rows Data Centre Partner-Facing Services (blue) and Data Centre Enabler Services (orange) are mapped to corresponding (column) services, partner-facing and enabler services, as well as foundational elements. An ‘X” indicates that the service is dependent upon the corresponding service, while an “O” indicates a potential optional dependency, based on an assessment of when the service would be deployed. For example, ‘Operational Recovery Service (IaaS)’ is dependent upon Compute and Storage Provisioning (IaaS) to enable deployment, but it is optionally dependent upon Application Hosting (PaaS), Database Hosting (PaaS) and File Services (GCDrive)(PaaS). Once the latter services are deployed, the ‘Operational Recovery Service’ would be reconfigured to support the new capabilities. Note that all partner-facing and enabler services are dependent upon the foundational elements.
