• Transport Canada supervised and performed more than 360 hours of ground and flight testing during the certification process.

• Over 100 Transport Canada employees were assigned to the Global 7500 project over the course of the certification process, which began in May of 2012.

• Transport Canada employees have devoted over 100,000 hours to this certification project.

• The Global 7500 aircraft is the world’s largest and longest-range business jet.

• In 2017, the aerospace industry made a significant contribution to Canada’s economy through more than 188,000 direct and indirect quality jobs and over $24.5 billion in gross domestic product.
