Review of regulations to align with evolving legislation, administrative needs or government priorities
Narrative
The review of these regulations is driven by the need to remove and amend the sections that are out of date in order to reduce the risk of misinterpretation. This review is done on a regular basis. The regulations were amended in 2017 and 2019; the amendments were mostly technical and reactive to stakeholders’ interventions. The current intent is to make similar types of amendments in 2022.
