Minister Brison tables 2016-17 Departmental Results Reports
News Release
November 9, 2017, Ottawa
Open and transparent government results in policies, programs and services that better reflect the values and expectations of Canadians.
Today, Treasury Board President Scott Brison tabled the annual Departmental Results Reports on behalf of 83 government departments and agencies.
The 2016-17 Departmental Results Reports are more streamlined and provide Canadians with a clearer view of the results departments achieved and how resources were used to achieve those results.
For the first time, the Departmental Results Reports link to InfoBase, an online government tool that brings together performance results and indicators data that were previously scattered across close to 100 annual reports.
More information is now available to Canadians, and parliamentarians among them, to monitor the planning, spending and tracking of tax dollars.

The Honourable Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board
