Notice of Correction and Addition

: Results pertaining to duty to accommodate (questions 81, 82 and 83) and results broken down by question 86 (shift worker), which were not available at the time of publication, have been added to the datasets. Results broken down by occupational groups and levels (questions 90 and 91) and occupational categories (derived variable K_D90G) have been revised and updated.

: Results for the LA and LP occupational groups and certain organizational units within certain departments and agencies have been revised and updated.

Open datasets supporting documentation. Contains the following:

  • Layout of the CSV files listed below;
  • List of all the survey questions;
  • Definitions of codes used in the datasets; and
  • Specifications used in creating the “Positive”, “Neutral”, “Negative” and “Agree” categories.
2014 PSES Results (main dataset) [.csv file, 137 MB]

2014 Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) results in CSV format. Contains the following:

  • Public service and department/agency results;
  • Public service and department/agency results broken down by demographic characteristics; and
  • Comparative results for 2011 and 2008.

Please note: The number of rows in this file exceeds the number of rows permitted by Microsoft Excel.  The files below are subsets of this main file and contain fewer rows.

Subset (by demographic variables, without occupational levels, communities) [.csv file, 446 MB]

2014 Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) results in CSV format. Contains the following:

  • Public service and department/agency results;
  • Public service and department/agency results broken down by demographic characteristics except for Q91 (occupational group level) and Q92 (community), which are provided in a separate file;
  • Comparative results for 2011 and 2008; and
  • English and French labels for questions, departments and agencies and demographic variables.

Subset (by occupational levels, communities) [.csv file, 182 MB]

2014 Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) results in CSV format. Contains the following:

  • Public service and department/agency results by Q91 (occupational group level) and Q92 (community);

  • English and French labels for questions, departments and agencies and demographic variables.
