Canadian Delegation 

Backgrounder

The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women, will lead the Canadian delegation to the 62nd Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She will be joined by her colleagues:

  • The Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs;
  • The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and
  • The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie.

A number of Parliamentarians will also join the delegation, including:
