Université Sainte-Anne

Spotlight on Francophone Businesses and Organizations

Pointe-de-l'Église, N.S.

Enhancing the vitality of French-speaking communities and promoting the use of the French language enriches Canada’s cultural diversity.

Université Sainte-Anne is the flagship institution for Acadians and other francophones in Nova Scotia, and is recognized for the excellence of its education and research programs, as well as its welcoming environment in rural Nova Scotia to students from around the French-speaking world.

Over the years, the University has grown to service five campuses and has adapted its programming to include Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Science, Education, Arts, and an internationally recognized French immersion program.

The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) has provided investments to help Université Sainte-Anne innovate and invest in new research, facility upgrades and more. These investments are helping the only francophone post-secondary educational institution in Nova Scotia continue its work in the community to ensure that Acadian culture and the French language remain strong and vibrant.
