TechImpact launches Digital Boost 2.0 to drive tech adoption in New Brunswick

Innovation and diversification help grow the economy and create good jobs for Atlantic Canadians. To develop and grow a sustainable economy, businesses in the region must continue to implement innovative technology, projects and processes that are good for productivity and the environment.

Government funding to help up to 150 companies create a digital strategy

Dominic LeBlanc, President of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, today announced an investment of more than $3.7 million to TechImpact. TechImpact will use the funds to launch Digital Boost 2.0 and help businesses accelerate the adoption of digital technologies to remain resilient and competitive. The project also includes the creation of the Collab Hub, a digital place to promote New Brunswick technology providers and foster collaboration within and beyond the local information technology (IT) sector.

Minister LeBlanc made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.

The Government of Canada is committed to supporting Atlantic Canadian businesses and organizations through this period of recovery. Today’s investment will enable businesses to pursue projects that will allow them to scale up, increase productivity and position them for success.
