New technology will improve productivity at Russell Industries

As the world continues to deal with the impact of COVID-19, companies are adapting operations and seeking new opportunities to stay on the cutting edge and spur growth. That is why the Government of Canada is investing in Russell Industries Corp. to help the company acquire new technology to scale-up and improve productivity.
New equipment will improve operations and create new jobs
Today, Wayne Long, Member of Parliament for Saint John-Rothesay, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for ACOA, announced a repayable contribution of $750,385 to Russell Industries to support the purchase of new innovative tank cleaning equipment.
The equipment will help the company reduce costs and manual labour involved in cleaning liquid petroleum tanks, improve safety and workflow, and create 10 new jobs at the Russell Industries-owned Allerion Oilfield Services facility in Saint John.
Today’s announcement further demonstrates the Government of Canada’s commitment to help businesses innovate and seize new opportunities to adapt and grow.
