Ten high-potential companies explore new opportunities in the UK and Germany

October 8, 2025 · Moncton, New Brunswick · Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA)

Atlantic Canadian food and beverage producers are making their mark in Europe, showcasing Canada’s high-quality products, opening doors to new buyers, and creating opportunities for growth back home.

From October 1-8, Taste of Nova Scotia led a delegation of ten Atlantic Canadian companies in a trade mission to London, United Kingdom, and Cologne, Germany. Supported through the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Agreement (ATIGA), the mission helped companies grow exports and diversify into competitive international markets.

In London, the delegation engaged in targeted business-to-business meetings, retail tours, and product reviews with market experts. In Cologne, the delegation took part in Anuga 2025, one of the world’s largest food industry trade shows, highlighting Canada’s innovative food and beverage sector to international buyers and partners.

The Government of Canada and the four Atlantic provinces are working together to strengthen Atlantic Canada’s global presence, help businesses grow and compete internationally, and build a stronger economy.
