Description
This course is designed to prepare officer cadets to safely lift, secure and rig lifting equipment on board a vessel in machinery spaces. Topics covered in this course include:
- construction and use of:
- knots
- lashings
- crane operation
- construction of special lifting slings and other apparatus, including:
