Description
This course is designed to prepare officer cadets to be self-sufficient in times of emergency on a vessel operating away from external support services. Topics covered in this course include:
- damage control as it relates to shipboard emergencies
- exercises demonstrating the knowledge associated with damage control aboard ships, using mock-ups of a ship's sections
