Mia Kelly

Mia Kelly is a bilingual singer-songwriter based in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Blending folk, blues, rock and Americana, Mia’s powerful voice sings deeply themed stories with raw emotion.

Guyaume Boulianne

Cultural competition: Storytelling

City: Baie Sainte-Marie, N.S.

Guyaume Boulianne was born in Saint-Boniface to a Franco-Manitoban father and Acadian Nova-Scotian mother. He grew up in the Acadian region of Baie Sainte-Marie where he still lives today. Trained as a musician, Guyaume performs traditional Acadian tales. He is currently a mandolinist with the group P’tit Belliveau.


AMS

Cultural competition: Creative dance

City: Montréal, Que.

AMS (Andy Michel Shadari) is a young dance company created by the dancer and choreographer of the same name. The company is made up of 15 dancers who have just entered the professional dance world, bringing a fresh perspective to the art form today. Each dancer comes from a different background and has different specialties. While the company reflects diversity and versatility, AMS dancers share a common goal: to evolve through the dance world, and to travel and work together to share their passion with audiences.

Break City All-Stars

Cultural competition: Hip-hop dance

City: Montréal, Que.

Break City All-Stars is a Montréal-based dance team who combines break, theatre, comedy and stunts in their shows. One thing the members have in common is that they are all teachers who have been inspiring young people through dance and hip-hop culture for years. Break City All-Stars was formed in 2018 when it got accepted to perform at the Halifax International Busker Festival, the largest busker festival in the world.

Caroline Douville

Caroline Douville is a visual artist and curator based in Montréal, Quebec. She holds a bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University. Her artistic practice focuses on painting, drawing and installation. She also has exhibited in Canada and abroad.
