About the Government of Canada Survey of Heritage Institutions
The Government of Canada Survey of Heritage Institutions collects financial and operating data on all heritage institutions, including museums, art galleries, archives, historic sites, zoos and botanical gardens.
This survey is conducted to provide aggregate data to governments and other stakeholders in order to gain a better understanding of not-for-profit heritage institutions in Canada and to aid in the development of policies, and the conduct of programs.
