Why the policy was changed
The policy was revised as part of the cyclic national policy review process.
What changed
A number of minor changes were made to the policy to ensure it remains in line with current procedures and best practices. In addition, the policy has been changed to incorporate inclusive language.
How it was developed
The policy was reviewed by the Security Branch, in collaboration with the Strategic Policy Division, as part of the three-year review cycle. Full consultations with internal and external stakeholders were held.

All CSC employees responsible for supervising offenders.
