Commissioner's update for or offenders and their families: December 8, 2025

December 10 is Human Rights Day. At CSC, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and respectful environment free from harassment and discrimination. It is our responsibility to uphold your rights, as well as those of our employees, partners, and visitors.

CSC is currently doing an evaluation to determine which institutions, parole offices, and Community Correctional Centres should be required to provide services in English, French, or in both official languages.

If you wish to review your language of choice during this exercise, I encourage you to communicate with your parole officer. The deadline to submit your update is June 30, 2026.
