Behind the walls of each federal penitentiary you’ll find nurses, correctional officers, Aboriginal elders, chaplains, cooks, administrative staff and more. Like a small community, they work together to protect the safety of Canadians. At the same time,
they rehabilitate federal inmates and help them reintegrate into
the community.
