April 17, 2019 – Dorchester, New Brunswick – Correctional Service Canada

Between March 20 and April 4, 2019, staff members confiscated a large number of unauthorized items at Dorchester Penitentiary a multi-level security federal institution. The unauthorized items seized were identified as 634 nicotine patches with an institutional value of $63,400.

These activities may be related to drug use or trafficking that may threaten the safety and security of visitors, inmates and staff members working at CSC institutions.

The toll-free number, 1‑866‑780‑3784, helps ensure that the information shared is protected and that callers remain anonymous.
