Defence O365 podcast featuring the ADM(IM)
June 23, 2020 – Defence Stories
With almost all Defence Team user accounts created, Defence O365 is quickly becoming the tool to support our work and collaboration. With that in mind, the Defence O365 team have created an interesting four part podcast series highlighting this new tool and the incredible IM/IT work being spearheaded at DND/CAF.
This series features ADM(IM) and Defence CIO, Len Bastien, CAF J6 and COS(IM), Major-General Andrew Jayne, and Director General Information Management Technology and Strategic Planning, Sophie Martel. They recently sat down with KPMG to talk about the active roles they played in pandemic planning, and their ongoing work to ensure that critical communications systems are functioning and available.
Check out the episodes that discuss four phases of our IM/IT response to the global pandemic:
Tune in to learn how ADM(IM) and Defence O365 are ensuring Defence Team members are able to continue to work and collaborate remotely during this unprecedented period.

Did you also know that the Defence Team’s remote access to the Defence O365 cloud platform is as secure as being directly connected to the Defence Wide Area Network (DWAN)? This is just one of the many great reasons Defence Team members are quickly adopting the platform.
Accounts have been created for over 92% of the Defence Team, so keep an eye out for your onboarding email from your L1 organization soon and in the meantime, visit the Defence O365 page on Canada.ca for more information!
