Defence O365 Testimonials - We want to hear from you!

July 7, 2020 – Defence Stories

With over 136,067 Defence O365 accounts created to-date, this cloud-based suite of collaboration and work tools is enabling military and civilian Defence Team members to work remotely as the Defence Team adapts to new ways of working due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As Defence O365 continues to roll-out to the remainder of Defence Team members, here is what some of our members and employees have to say about the platform so far:

“From email to chats, Defence O365 gives our team an option to reliably connect with one another. I like its version tracking feature for documents, cutting down on our emails. I hope the platform is here to stay; it gives us greater flexibility to telework and connect.”

- Sarah

“A few months ago, this was as pilot project in two Canadian divisions. Now, we have senior Army leadership touting the benefits of this capability.

This system/product will go a long way in providing communications and information management and information technologies capabilities to Canadian Army personnel, both in the current environment and as part of our business resumption plan.”

- Matthew

“Defence O365 is an interactive and collaborative environment, unlike anything before. I can work on documents with my colleagues together on MS Team’s chat, and can automatically track the version control of the documents.”

- Kevin

From the instant collaboration it provides, to its built-in version control feature, Defence O365 is quickly changing the way we work at Defence. With the platform being set to continue serving the department beyond the pandemic response period, let us know now how we can help shape and change the platform for the better in the future.

We want to hear from you! If you or your team have feedback about the Defence O365 platform, please send your comments to IM Gp Comms. (IMGpCommunications-CommunicationsduGpGI@forces.gc.ca)
