Virtual Offboarding for Students and their Managers – Supporting human resources and staffing while working remotely

With the summer student season winding down and contracts coming to an end, the National Civilian Welcome and Integration Team (NCWIT) has prepared a new virtual offboarding tool to be used by students and their hiring managers.

This resource has been designed to help facilitate a efficient wrap up to your time spent with the Department of National Defence (DND). Similar to how a good first impression promotes employee retention, a good last impression can leave the door open for students to return to DND. Therefore, it’s essential that this virtual offboarding tool be used by DND’s departing students and their hiring managers. 

The following virtual offboarding tool has been developed for those students who are leaving  DND as well as their managers and/or direct supervisor:

This new offboarding resource can be accessed on the Defence Team COVID-19 Working Remotely web page, or by downloading the HR GO RH mobile app (which can be found on the iOS App Store and Google Play).
