The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC), in partnership with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), is hosting two types of peer support groups for people affected by sexual misconduct and military sexual trauma (MST) this winter.

Services are available virtually to those 18 years and older who are either current or former:

Formal Peer Support Group

Ten group sessions hosted by a trained peer supporter with lived experience and a mental health professional. Sessions are guided by educational materials that cover topics such as trauma, moral injury, coping and self-care, and are supported by peer group discussion.

Discussions are guided by participants’ needs and interests as they relate to their lived experiences.
