Helping Our Peers by providing Empathy
HOPE provides you and your family with peer support if you have recently experienced the loss of a loved one by matching you with a trained peer volunteer who understand the grieving journey.
What this service offers
HOPE offers the following services:
- confidental support
- sympathetic ear
- understanding of the grieving process
- sharing similar experiences
Who is eligible
You and your family are eligibile for this service if you have lost a loved one who served in the Canadian Armed Forces, either active or retired, Regular or Reserve Force. The loss may have occurred during military service or due to other causes.
