Important update: Restorative Engagement Program
As most class members completed their engagements by March 2026, and all Defence representative cohorts have concluded, the RE Program on Sexual Misconduct is now coming to a close.
Over several years, the program created space for class members to share their experiences, impacts and insights, with Defence representatives. Their contributions have helped deepen understanding and support culture changes across the Defence Team. We are deeply grateful to all class members.
We also thank Defence representatives for their participation, openness and willingness to reflect on the impacts of sexual misconduct, and what meaningful change could look like in the future.
Our work continues. We are now focused on reviewing what was shared, bringing key insights together, and preparing the Final Report. This work will help inform future actions to address sexual misconduct and continue culture change within the institution.

Mandated by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)-Department of National Defence (DND) Misconduct Class Action Final Settlement to create opportunities for class members to share their experience, impacts, or insights on sexual misconduct with Defence representatives.
